We now have FIFA 22 firmly set in our sights, and we think these ten players deserve an upgrade when the new game rolls around.
The players on the list should all feature for their national teams this summer, so a strong showing could help their cause for a boost in both Ultimate Team and Career Mode.
Take a look at ten of the stars we think deserve an upgrade below.
Erling Haaland (84 → 87)
Norway and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is top of our list of upgrades having massively outgrown the 84 OVR he has on FIFA 21.
The latest squad updates have him with an 87 OVR, and we think he will land that in FIFA 22 after another prolific season.
Romelu Lukaku (85 → 87)
Serie A Player of the Season Romelu Lukaku will surely be upgraded in FIFA 22 as he has established himself as one of the game's elite strikers.
Lukaku was unhappy with his rating at the start of FIFA 21, but after helping Inter Milan lift the title it should be better this time around.
Kingsley Coman (84 → 86)
Bayern Munich has a plethora of attacking talent with the likes of Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane in the ranks, but it was Kingsley Coman who stood out among the wingers.
The French speedster is currently rated 86 OVR in the latest updates and should stay there in FIFA 22.
Ruben Dias (81 → 85)
Ruben Dias' 81 OVR at the start of FIFA 21 is almost laughable now.
The Portuguese centre-back helped Man City win the Premier League in his first season and he should be ranked among the elite.
Marcos Llorente (82 → 85)
Another player who helped his side win their respective league title is Marcos Llorente.
He will certainly receive an upgrade next season, although 85 OVR may be pushing it unless he has an outstanding EURO 2020 with Spain.
Andre Silva (79 → 84)
Andre Silva actually outscored Erling Haaland in the Bundesliga this season, so expect his stock to rise.
Silva has received several upgrades in squad updates this season and should start FIFA 22 with a much higher base rating.
Joao Felix (81 → 84)
Portugal wonderkid Joao Felix came of age this season, starring in Atletico Madrid's successful La Liga campaign.
As a FIFA ambassador, Felix has a great chance of a big upgrade in the new game.
Phil Foden (79 → 83)
Man City youngster Phil Foden impresses every time he steps on the pitch.
Foden will certainly see a higher rating next season and a strong showing with England could take it even higher.
Jack Grealish (80 → 83)
Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish's season was hampered by injury, but he still impressed enough to warrant a major upgrade.
Another of Gareth Southgate's men heading to the EUROs, Grealish could play a key part if England is to be successful.
Declan Rice (79 → 83)
Defensive midfielders do not always get the credit they deserve, but Declan Rice is widely regarded as a world-class CDM.
After another terrific season in East London, the West Ham academy product should see a major increase to his stats in FIFA 22.
