A new trailer for the NBA 2K26 MyCAREER mode has been released, and this one gave fans the first look at the brand new Out of Bounds storyline.
The Out of Bounds storyline will be narrated by award-winning director and legendary Knicks fan, Spike Lee. It will showcase the highs and lows of players who want to enter the NBA, as well as all the challenges they need to overcome to even get a chance to enter the best basketball league on the planet.

The NBA 2K26 MyCAREER Out of Bounds storyline is a cinematic journey that will follow your MyPLAYER as he tries to enter the league, cement himself in the NBA, and become one of the greatest to ever touch a basketball.
It will showcase the challenges of being scouted while in a small city and playing for a low-prestige college conference, even if you have more than enough talent. The hardships of moving to one of the biggest cities in the world, Los Angeles, to showcase your skills and get eyes on yourself, while also competing with hundreds of players with the same dream, and proving you are the one.
Navigating life on and off the court, with rivals, agents, family, everything, while you try to accomplish your dream, to get in the NBA. The trailer shows that your MyPLAYER can follow the path of international basketball, European basketball to be more precise, as he works on growing as a player and person, to get an NBA ticket.
Once in the NBA, MyPLAYER's road to the top really begins, as he battles to become a starter, a key player on the team, to win the ROY, and push his team to the next level in the playoffs. The trailer really emphasizes "the road to the top" and how they are all built differently. So, expect that to be the main theme of this storyline.
The Out of Bounds storyline has many elements we have seen in previous NBA 2K MyCAREER storylines. However, it looks quite entertaining, with an interesting path to pro that will likely be more immersive than anything we have seen in recent years.
