The second-ever season reward track of FC 26 is now live. The inaugural one was part of the Ultimate Edition bonus, so some of you didn't have to cough up an additional $10 or think about doing the difficult grind of 500,000 Coins.
We personally advised against putting any thought into the first one if you were a Standard Edition player. But what about Season 2, Mexico '70? For any Real Madrid fan, the 88 OVR Rodrygo sure isn't asking you to have a second thought.
Looking past your love for Los Blancos, here's whether other rewards warrant the price you're asked to pay.
Is FC 26 Season 2 Premium Pass worth buying?

No, the Season 2 Premium Pass is not worth buying in FC 26.
One of the problems with the rewards historically has been the time it takes to get to the final level. When you get enough SP to reach level 40, there is no knowing the power curve and if the player will continue to remain meta. Even if the power curve doesn't get them immediately, they'll remain relevant for a couple of weeks max.
As for other rewards, barring some Evolutions, they are just not exciting enough. There are packs, too, but the chance of getting anything good is not that much higher than zero.
Yes, there is nothing in the game that'll offer you similar value as the Premium Pass for the price, no matter how so-so the rewards are. Still, it is best to save the Coins and FC Points for either future passes or some unmissable Evolutions.
We're just getting started with the game's promo cycle. There will be bigger and more 'worth' campaigns like Team of the Year, that'll likely have better passes and Evo to dump your savings on.
